Welcome apero
The welcome apero will be held on Wednesday (Sep 11) evening at the Swiss National Supercomputing Center (CSCS) located in the area of Cornaredo, approximately 20 walking minutes from the conference location, or a 10 minutes bus ride with bus n. 6 (direction Cornaredo) from the stop Università (leaving at 17:33 and17:48) to the end of the line Cornaredo, or with bus n. 7 (direction Pregassona) from stop Sacro cuore (leaving at 17:34, 17:44, and 17:54) to stop Stadio.
Meeting point: CSCS, 18:00.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held on Thursday (Sep 12) evening at Ristorante Vetta on top of Monte San Salvatore.

There will be a special funicular ride organised for VMV 2013 participants with departure at 19:00 from Paradiso (directions). If you prefer a hiking challenge, then you can also walk up the mountain and enjoy the beautiful views along the way.
The dinner will start at 20:00.
